Knoxville, Carousel II

Knoxville is one of my favorite bookings to go on because my Mother lives in Knoxville! Her Sister Kate, who is gay, also lives there. My sister Angela and her son Chris live close to town as well. Needless to say, when I come to work at the Carousel II I get to se a lot of family. On my most recent trip my web designer Luke Benton (@nlukeb) went with me.

I worked at the Carousel II on August 27th with Anastasia and Jamie. Of course, I can’t remember their last names which must mean I had fun that night. My Aunt Kate always comes to this show which makes it it fun for me. They do two shows, one at 11:30PM and the second at 1AM. Knoxville is a college town so there are always a lot of young men and women it this club with a lot of energy.

This year, I started working with a new non-profit called Project Live Love (@projectlivelove). When I’m traveling I try to spread their message of “LIVE LOVE” by posting Live Love stickers along my way. Luke and I were able to get some good pictures of the only two stickers I had left for this trip! This trip I put one in the dressing room and we stopped at a rest area and posted one. On a little side note, one of my favorite places to eat is Sonic but, because I live in the city, there is not one close to my house. Whenever I travel I am always looking for one to eat at! On the way home, we found one off highway 75 at exit 60. Check out my little video I shot at the drive-in.
